I'm having one of those days.
You know the days where things are so busy, you can't get all the things your expected to get done on a daily basis finished.
Your so busy you can't seem to get off the phone.
It's usually during these days where the computer decides to bite the dust, or the chosen day to upgrade one of your programs. You know the ONE program you need to run the business and do your job.
I think tonight calls for Ice Cream, or Wine or both. Maybe even a fire so I can roast some marshmallows.
I can't believe it's only Tuesday. Good Lord, please help me get through this week.
After work, on the agenda...
Hanging Car Wash Signs like there's no tomorrow!

TGIF
My goodness work has been crazy. This week has been really busy.
I have been going, going, going, gone.
I'm so happy it's Friday.
The only thing to make this weekend sweeter is if I changed my phone number.
That was my biggest mistake to give the boss man and his wife my phone number.
AHHH They call ALL.THE.TIME.
I think I'm going to screen my calls and when they ask where I went I will tell them deep sea fishing in Africa.
On a better note:
My plans for the weekend? Nothing! And it's so wonderful.
I'm going to lay outside! Eat Ice Cream! Lay Outside! Make Sun Tea! Eat Ice Cream!
seriously this is what I have planned for this weekend and I couldn't be happier.
I have been going, going, going, gone.

Crunch Time.
Everyone is feeling the crunch right now. No one is immune.
Graduation people are scrambling around making sure they sent out every last invitation.
Double checking on the party head count and what they will feed them at these parties.
It's the end of the month and every one else may feel a different crunch.
"Holy Crap My Kid is Graduating!"
Or "I have to plant my garden!"
I'm feeling the Graduation crunch today, I promised some people I would help out this weekend and next weekend my sister graduates. It's going to be a busy busy time.
On top of that I'm still anxiously waiting my fate, all I need is a phone call really.
But not getting it right now. Like RIGHT NOW is making me anxious and that is never a good thing.
I'm so close to getting my goals accomplished, I'm getting stir crazy just to see this thing through!
Thank goodness it's Friday, I can take all weekend to get things accomplished on my end!
Congratulations to all the graduates this coming weekend!

This is Scary.
My Mom sent me this email a while ago, I can't believe this.
Some people seriously make me sick.
(Warning to anyone wanting to kidnap me or steal from me. Get near me, my family or my truck and I'll shoot you. If I don't have a gun handy, I'll kill you with my bare hands, don't believe me? Why don't you give it a try, one of us will die and I have to much to live for so it won't be me.)
Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area..
As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas.
Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car.
Then we received this email yesterday:
WARNING FROM POLICE THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE-- NEW WAY TO DO CARJACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)
'He ads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating... You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside.. You start the engine and shift into Reverse.
When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off.
They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car.
So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys.
Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!
BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.
If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

Holy Crap, we need help.
Have you ever looked at your surroundings and decided right then and there....
"I need Help!"
Yeah, I'm there. I'm there everywhere.
Work. Home. Cow Doctor. "Help, Heeelllp"
Work.
I'm drowning in a sea of paperwork and mess. Being this unorganized is hard on a person.
I've tried, I seriously genuinely tried to get things in order and organized, but the mess sucks you in. Sucks you in and sucks you dry of your organizing attempts.
Home.
I think I need a maid, or wait. Wait. What if I taught my cats how to use the people potty. Like on that movie "Meet the Parents". It could be done right?
Now only if I could teach my dog to unload the dish washer and vacuum, I'd be all good.
Cow Doctor.
Oy. They suck the sleep right out of your life. Cows have personality, and no two cow's personalities are the same. You have the nice sweet cows, then you have the mean, "I want to eat your face off" cows. I don't like those ones.
On another note:
Outside is wonderful, the sun is shinning and it gives me hope. Hope that one day, I will dig myself out of my sea of paperwork and find the time to unload that darn dish washer.
There is also hope that I will finish painting that dang wall, good lord it will get done.
I wish I had time for fun things, for I would go on vacation and sip cocktails all day by the pool.
Ahh, yes that is what I'm meant to do in life. That is my true purpose, I just know it.
How in the world I ended up here among, paperwork, unloading the dishes, vacuuming, laundry, painting, Cow hoo haw's I'll never know.
Oh well, guess when life throws you lemon's you make lemon sorbet.... right? RIGHT???

Feels like spring time
Have you ever heard about the wacky weather we get in Montana?
(If you live in Montana, then you KNOW what I'ma talkin about)
Today in Montana on this day of January 19th, 2009 it is:
60 degrees
The sun is shinning
And the sky is blue
Ahhh, it makes me want to be outside, it makes me want to eat ice cream, it makes me want to work out, then eat more ice cream!
You know what though, on Thursday they are calling for Snow.
So I'm going to enjoy this spring like weather we have for the next couple days. Cause then it will be gone, gone for another 3 months.
I'm telling you it's crazy weather here. Don't believe me?
I'll have to find the picture I took in June.
There is 8 inches of snow on the ground.

The calm before the storm
Have you ever noticed this?
I'm sure you've heard the saying before "The calm before the storm"
This saying holds true to everything. No stop it, it does too. Every time.
It doesn't matter what circumstance or life style you life or have or want or dream of or... nevermind.
What I'm stammering about is this.
When things are calm, you have all the bills paid, all the barns cleaned, your floors waxed and your picture frames dusted, and heck even your toilets scrubbed.
You take a second to sit on the couch and eat ice cream while watching your favorite show, or movie.
Then WAM! BAM! The storm hits, something happens that upsets your time on the couch eating bon bons and watching TV. It can be anything really, the cat pukes on your clean floors, the dogs bring mud on your clean carpet, you get the plague and have doctor bills.
You don't believe me? Let me draw another scenario!
The Ranch, ah it's a very quiet place when you aren't working. And if you are familiar with Ranching life styles, you are always working. There is something to do always, the job is never done always. Always you are busy. (do you ever watch Mad TV?)
Well our calm is before a big event. Big events are measured in 5-6 big events. (usually)
1. Calving
2. Haying
3. Shipping
4. Branding
5. Weaning/ Sorting
6. Fencing (Ryan's favorite)
(disclaimer, these are not in any specific order)
Of course before these big events it's all about preparation! Preparation will be your what if scenario! You prepare for everything, good and bad.
Once that's all done, and it usually takes a while for everything to be finished. Finally the cowboy's can enjoy some downtime. Easy busy work, getting off early, you know their time to sit on the couch and eat bon bon's.
Then WAM! BAM! it happens. Your Cows get out and are living on the neighbor ranch or It snows in June when you want to Brand or Your baler breaks after 3 bales or it gets to be -40 during calving and all the cows decide today is the day to calve (why do they do that?)
Anyways you get the idea, and if you weren't believers before you should be now!
Don't worry though, there is a cure. You just have to live in utter and complete craziness to ensure this doesn't happen.
To be sure I don't fall victim to this again, I'm going one step further I stopped cleaning my house and doing laundry! Yep I think I'm safe.
